Paul Klee
Paul Klee was a Swiss-born German artist who is widely considered to be the father of abstract art. He was a key figure in the Bauhaus art movement and a major influence on the Modernist and Surrealist arts of the 20th century, and produced over 9,000 works of art throughout his lifetime.
