cartissi is a creative duo whose prints draw from a wide range of visual influences — vintage vinyl aesthetics, travel imagery, botanical motifs, and clean geometric abstraction. The results are varied but always considered: from bold citrus-coloured compositions to muted neutral shapes, from retro-flavoured trail posters to floral close-ups. What connects the work is a sense of intentional restraint, even when the palette goes bright.

Choosing Your Format

All cartissi prints are produced in our Berlin studio using archival pigment inks rated for 100+ years of colour stability. Fine art prints come on 225g matte fine art paper — a smooth, heavyweight stock that holds crisp lines and graphic detail with precision. Paper sizes are available in A3, 50x70cm, 70x100cm, and A0, making it easy to scale from a single accent piece to a statement-sized print.

Canvas prints use 400g cotton with a natural leinwand texture that adds warmth and physical depth, especially to the more painterly compositions. Canvas is stretched over a solid wood frame and available in 30x40cm, 50x70cm, and 70x100cm. For a gallery-style presentation, canvas prints can be paired with a floating frame — a 5mm shadow gap that lifts the print off the wall.

Framing options for paper prints include oak, black, and walnut brown — each handmade to order. Oak brings out the warmer tones in vintage-inspired pieces; black sharpens contrast on the more minimal abstracts; walnut brown adds a middle-ground richness that works well with both. Every frame is cut and assembled in Berlin specifically for your order.
