The Botanical Geometric Series

Cinthya Godoy's work sits at the intersection of botanical illustration and geometric design. Her Botanical Geometric series takes plant forms — leaves, stems, organic curves — and places them within structured, geometric frameworks. The result is a visual language that feels both natural and architectural: botanical subjects given order without losing their organic character.

Each piece in the series is numbered — Botanical Geometric Nr 5, Nr 10, Nr 16, Nr 18, Nr 20 — and while they share a consistent formal approach, every composition finds its own balance between the organic and the constructed. Some lean more heavily into clean geometric lines, others let the botanical elements dominate. This serialised approach makes the prints particularly effective as a group: hang two or three together for a cohesive statement, or choose a single piece as a focal point. The work pairs well with botanical prints from our wider collection, or alongside abstract art prints that share the same interest in form and structure.

Choosing Between Paper and Canvas

All Cinthya Godoy prints are produced in our Berlin studio using archival pigment inks with 100+ years of colour fastness. Fine art prints come on 225g matte fine art paper — the clean, smooth surface brings out the precision of the geometric linework and the subtle tonal shifts in the botanical elements. Paper sizes are available in A3, 50x70cm, 70x100cm, and A0.

Canvas prints use 400g cotton with a textured surface that adds physical warmth and depth. The leinwand texture gives the botanical elements a more tactile quality, as though the plant forms have been painted rather than printed. Canvas is available in 30x40cm, 50x70cm, and 70x100cm, stretched over a solid wood frame. A floating frame can be added for a gallery-style presentation with a 5mm shadow gap.

Framing options for paper prints include oak, black, and walnut brown. Oak suits the natural, botanical character of the work. Black frames sharpen the geometric structure and add contemporary edge. Walnut brown bridges the two — warm enough for the organic forms, structured enough for the geometry. All frames are handmade to order in Berlin.

Building a Wall with Botanical Geometry

The serialised nature of Cinthya Godoy's work makes it one of the most gallery-wall-friendly collections in our programme. A row of three Botanical Geometric prints — matched in size, with consistent framing — creates a clean, intentional display. Alternatively, mix sizes for a more dynamic arrangement.

These prints work particularly well in living rooms, dining areas, and home offices — spaces where you want art that adds visual interest without overwhelming the room. The botanical-geometric hybrid aesthetic also makes them a natural companion to contemporary artist prints and nature-inspired art. If you prefer structured, considered artwork over expressive or abstract approaches, this is a strong starting point.
