Bold Botanicals from Brazil
Frida Floral Studio creates collage-based compositions that layer botanical forms, organic textures, and vivid colour into dense, expressive arrangements. Works like Citrus Blush Cluster and Golden Petal bring a painterly energy to floral subjects — more abstract than illustrative, more collage than photograph. These prints suit spaces where colour is welcome and understatement is not the goal.
If you are drawn to floral art that leans toward bold abstraction rather than delicate realism, this is a good starting point. Pair with other contemporary artists in the Kuriosis catalogue for a cohesive wall that stays lively.
Choosing Your Format
Every Frida Floral Studio motif is available as a fine art print on 225g matte fine art paper and as a canvas print on 400g cotton canvas. The paper editions deliver sharp colour transitions and clean edges — well suited for works like Abstrato 1 and Abstrato 10 where graphic precision matters. Canvas adds visible texture and warmth, bringing out the layered, tactile quality of pieces like Aqua Bloom Silhouette.
Paper sizes: A3, 50x70cm, 70x100cm, and A0. Canvas sizes: 30x40cm, 50x70cm, and 70x100cm. All prints are produced in our Berlin studio using archival pigment inks rated for 100+ years of colour stability.
Framing and Display
Oak frames add natural warmth and work well with the earthy tones that run through many of these compositions. Black frames sharpen the contrast, especially on the more abstract pieces. Walnut brown frames sit somewhere in between — grounded without competing with the colour palette. For canvas prints, floating frames with a 5mm shadow gap create a gallery-level presentation.
Frida Floral Studio prints mix naturally with botanical art and floral illustrations from across the Kuriosis catalogue. A gallery wall combining one of these bold collages with a quieter vintage botanical creates a conversation between old and new — and between restraint and abundance.
