Art prints by Raissa Oltmanns — a Hamburg-based illustrator whose work combines vibrant colour, bold outlines, and strong feminine characters. Nature, animals, and pop-art energy run through every piece. Printed in our Berlin studio on fine art paper and canvas.
Raissa Oltmanns is a Hamburg-based illustrator and graphic designer whose work runs on vibrant colour, confident lines, and strong characters. Trained in design with a background in printing techniques and photography, she brings a graphic sensibility to illustration that gives her pieces immediate visual impact. Her subjects are often women — self-assured, expressive, unapologetic — rendered in flat colour fields with bold outlines and a pop-art directness.
Nature and animals appear frequently in her work, but always filtered through her graphic style. Pieces like Fruitlover, Fresh Oranges, and Pick a Flower combine botanical and figurative elements with a playful energy that keeps the compositions from feeling heavy. Flowers in a Vintage Honey Can and Cheers to My Girl Gang show her range — from quiet still-life-inspired moments to social, celebratory scenes.
Paper or Canvas — What Works Best
Oltmanns' flat colour fields and clean outlines print well on both materials, but the effect differs. On 225g matte fine art paper, the colours stay vivid and the edges stay crisp — the graphic quality of her work comes through cleanly. On 400g cotton canvas, the texture softens the colours slightly and adds a warmth that suits her earthier palettes and larger-format pieces.
Paper sizes: A3, 50x70cm, 70x100cm, and A0. Canvas sizes: 30x40cm, 50x70cm, and 70x100cm. All prints are produced in our Berlin studio using archival pigment inks. Frame options include oak, black, and walnut brown. Canvas prints come on stretcher bars or with a floating frame for a gallery-style finish.
