Rosana Laiz Blursbyai Art Prints and Canvas Prints
Rosana Laiz Garcia is a Spanish architect and artist who brings a trained eye for structure into her illustration work. Her pieces at Kuriosis focus on architectural subjects — particularly the Bauhaus Dessau building, rendered in a vintage magazine style that plays flat graphic design against modernist form. The compositions use solid colour fields, clean typography, and restrained palettes to create images that sit comfortably between poster art and architectural documentation.
Her background in architecture is visible in every piece. Proportions are deliberate, negative space is used with intent, and the colour choices reflect an understanding of how buildings interact with light and context. These are not loose impressions of architecture — they are considered graphic interpretations by someone who understands what she is looking at. The vintage magazine aesthetic adds a layer of warmth and nostalgia without undermining the precision of the underlying design.
Printing and Framing
All Rosana Laiz Blursbyai prints are produced in our Berlin studio using archival pigment inks. Fine art paper prints use 225g matte stock — ideal for the flat colour fields and sharp typographic elements in her work — available in A3, 50x70 cm, 70x100 cm, and A0. Canvas prints use 400g cotton, available in 30x40 cm, 50x70 cm, and 70x100 cm, adding a subtle texture that works well with her graphic compositions. Frames are available in oak, black, and walnut brown. Canvas prints can be ordered with a floating frame for a clean gallery finish.
Contemporary Architecture and Design Prints
If you are drawn to the intersection of architecture and graphic art, you may also enjoy works from our Bauhaus collection or explore other contemporary artist prints in our programme. For more minimalist graphic work with a European sensibility, the prints by Rosi Feist share a similar clarity of form and colour.
