ZAM.ROD — Contemporary Illustration from Berlin
Laura, the artist behind ZAM.ROD, brings a background in fashion illustration — trained in Milan under Arturo Elena — to bold, graphic compositions shaped by travel, nature, and cultural diversity. Her work blends design discipline with expressive energy, producing prints that are confident on a wall without being decorative. The ZAM.ROD series at Kuriosis is a direct collaboration: original artwork produced specifically for fine art print, not reproductions of existing work. This is contemporary illustration made for the wall, with the graphic clarity to hold its own at large format.
ZAM.ROD prints are produced in our Berlin studio on 225g matte fine art paper using archival pigment inks rated for 100+ years. Available in A3, 50x70 cm, 70x100 cm, and A0. Canvas prints on 400g cotton canvas in 30x40 cm, 50x70 cm, and 70x100 cm. Frames in oak, black, and walnut brown.
What Makes ZAM.ROD Prints Different
These are not mass-market abstracts. Each ZAM.ROD composition has a specific visual logic — the line work, the colour choices, the balance between filled and open space are deliberate. The moth series in particular combines natural forms with a graphic sensibility that gives each piece both subject and structure. As a contemporary artist working directly with our Berlin studio, ZAM.ROD represents the side of Kuriosis that looks forward rather than back — new voices alongside the old masters.

Produced in Berlin, Start to Finish
Every ZAM.ROD print is produced to order in our Berlin studio. Fine art paper prints use 225g acid-free matte stock; canvas prints are stretched on 400g cotton over solid wood. Archival pigment inks ensure colour accuracy and longevity. Framing — oak, black, walnut brown — is fitted in-house.
