Egon Schiele

Egon Schiele is one of the prominent expressionism representatives.
Between 1906 and 1909, he met Gustav Klimt at the Viennese art academy, which significantly impacted the young artist and his future career.

He and other students of the Viennese art academy were disappointed with the conservative profile of the school and protested against it.

Unfortunately, it didn't meet the director's approval, leading him to drop off school in 1909 and start his solo artistic career. He rented an atelier in Vienna despite his mother's will, and he began his independent career.
