Colourful Contemporary Prints From Bogota to Berlin

Gina Rosas Moncada draws from two worlds — the tropical energy of her Colombian roots and the quieter rhythms of northern Germany, where she now lives. Her illustrations mix naive forms, bold colour fields, and layered textures into compositions that feel both playful and considered. Works like Amazonas and Tropical Flavours carry the warmth of Latin American visual culture, while pieces like Countryside and Open Up New Paths bring a more contemplative, pared-back quality. The range makes her collection versatile without losing its distinctive voice.

Each fine art print and canvas print is produced in our Berlin studio using archival pigment inks. Paper prints are made on 225g matte fine art paper in sizes A3, 50×70cm, 70×100cm, and A0. Canvas prints use 400g cotton with a natural linen texture, available in 30×40cm, 50×70cm, and 70×100cm — mounted on wooden stretcher bars, ready to hang as-is or in a floating frame. Frame options for paper prints include oak, black, and walnut brown.

If you enjoy Gina Rosas Moncada's expressive, colour-driven approach, you may also like work by Alice Straker or Ana Rut Bre, both of whom share a bold use of colour with a contemporary, illustrative sensibility. Which Format Works Best

Gina Rosas Moncada's illustrations work well in both paper and canvas formats, but the choice changes the feel. On fine art paper, the flat colour fields and crisp outlines stay sharp and graphic — ideal for a clean, modern interior. On canvas, the cotton texture adds a tactile warmth that suits the organic, hand-drawn quality of her work. Pieces like Let's Dance and But First, Ramen have enough visual weight for a 70×100cm statement piece, while smaller formats like 30×40cm canvas or A3 paper work well in groups or tight spaces.

For framing, oak brings out the warmth in her palette, while black frames give the compositions a sharper, gallery-style edge. Walnut brown sits between the two and works well in rooms with natural wood furniture.
