EMELIEmaria, also known as Emelie Maria Bylund, is a Swedish illustrator creating whimsical nature-inspired, kitchen, and kids' posters from her home in Jamtland. Working with gouache, watercolor, ink, and digital techniques, she draws inspiration from the wild landscapes around her and the charm of everyday moments. Her gentle, playful style recently extended into children's literature with her first illustrated book, Lina and Sanna i fjallen.

The approach is distinctly Scandinavian in its simplicity and restraint, but there is a softness and warmth that sets Bylund's work apart from the cooler minimalism often associated with Nordic design.
