Christina Misuro – Mixed Media Fine Art Prints
Christina Misuro is a self-taught artist from Belarus, now based in Poland. Her practice began with photography — she studied at the Academy of Photography in Białystok — before evolving into a layered approach that brings together oil paint, photography, and digital techniques. The result is work that operates at the edge of medium: images that hold the clarity of photography and the physicality of paint simultaneously.
Her subjects are intimate and personal. Identity, vulnerability, quiet strength — these are not themes handled with distance or irony, but explored with a raw honesty that gives each piece an emotional directness. The compositions often feel close and unflinching, with a sensitivity to gesture and surface that keeps the viewer engaged long after the first look.
Format and Framing
The layered, textural nature of Misuro's work prints beautifully on fine art paper — the smooth 225g matte surface reproduces the subtle tonal transitions and photographic detail with fidelity. Paper prints are available in A3, 50×70 cm, 70×100 cm, and A0. For framing, black provides a contemporary edge that suits the emotional weight of the work; oak frames add warmth and a more approachable quality.
Canvas brings a different dimension — the 400g cotton surface gives Misuro's layered compositions a physical presence that echoes the mixed-media origins of the work. Canvas prints are available in 30×40 cm, 50×70 cm, and 70×100 cm, with an optional floating frame for a clean gallery finish.
