Maarten Léon — Collage Art Between Memory and Stillness
Maarten Léon is an Amsterdam-based collage artist whose work turns everyday fragments into quiet, contemplative compositions. His pieces draw on themes of introspection, human connection, and the natural world — layering found imagery into scenes that feel both familiar and dreamlike. Titles like "Happy Memories" and "We Came Home Smiling" point to the personal, narrative quality that runs through his work. Each collage balances nostalgia with a clean, minimalist visual language.
At Kuriosis, we produce Maarten Léon's work as fine art prints and canvas prints in our Berlin studio. Every print is made with archival pigment inks rated for 100+ years of colour stability. Fine art paper prints use 225g matte stock — sharp enough to hold the crisp edges and tonal contrasts in his collage work. Canvas prints on 400g cotton bring a softer, more textured surface that suits the warmth in his compositions. If you're drawn to contemporary collage art or minimalist compositions, his work fits naturally alongside those collections.
Sizes, Frames, and Ordering
Fine art paper prints are available in A3, 50×70 cm, 70×100 cm, and A0. Canvas prints come in 30×40 cm, 50×70 cm, and 70×100 cm — stretched on wooden bars, ready to hang. Framing options include oak, black, and walnut brown. Canvas prints can also be ordered with a floating frame for a gallery-style shadow gap.
All prints ship from our Berlin studio. We handle production and packing in-house — no outsourcing, no drop-shipping. What you receive was printed, checked, and packed by the same small team.
