Bold Colour, Endless Summer

Marina Dorgan works in bold, saturated colour, painting coastal scenes and figures that capture the loose, unhurried feeling of a long summer. Beach umbrellas, swimwear, and sun-warmed skin recur across her work, rendered in simplified shapes rather than fine detail, since the point is the feeling of the scene, not photographic accuracy. Choosing a Size and Frame

This kind of bold, warm-toned work suits a sunroom, a beach house, or any space that could use a shot of colour against a neutral wall.
