Karen Menzenbach

Karen Menzenbach is an illustrator from Spain who first studied interior design in Germany before turning to pattern and botanical illustration. Now based in Mallorca, she paints in watercolour, acrylic, and gouache, as in Vibrant Tropical Toucan, then scans and digitises each piece so it holds up in print.

The result is artwork that still carries the texture and looseness of hand painting.
