Botanical art prints by Anis Illustration
Anis Illustration posters suit anyone who wants flowers on the wall without the weight of a classic still life. The designs are flat, graphic and calm: blossoms arranged on softly colored grounds, with clean outlines and a restrained palette of pastels, neutrals and deep reds. That balance makes the prints easy to combine with other botanical posters or with simple pieces from our modern poster collection.
The collection currently centers on seasonal florals such as Christmas Flowers, where an amaryllis, lilies and a poinsettia are scattered across a dusty pink background. It works as a festive accent in December, yet the muted colors keep it from feeling like a decoration you take down in January.
It is also an easy choice as a gift: the subject is friendly and personal without being loud, and the soft palette fits most homes. People who love botanical art but find vintage herbarium plates too formal usually feel at home with this lighter, more graphic take on flowers.
How to style Anis Illustration prints
A single print in 50x70 cm sits well above a sideboard, a bed or a small dining table. For a gallery wall, pair one Anis Illustration poster with two or three plant studies or line drawings in the same tonal range, and repeat one frame color across the whole arrangement. Oak frames pick up the warm creams in the artwork, black frames sharpen the dark accents, and walnut brown adds a softer, slightly vintage note. Portrait sizes from A3 up to A0 make it easy to build a layout around one large anchor piece and a few smaller companions.
Because the backgrounds are muted, the prints also hold their own next to patterned textiles, books and real plants, where a busier artwork would compete. If you like to rotate your walls with the seasons, keep the frames in place and swap the Christmas design for a spring or summer floral when January comes.
Paper or canvas: choosing your format
Every motif is available as a fine art print and as a canvas print. The paper version is printed in our Berlin studio on 225g matte fine art paper with archival pigment inks, in A3, 50x70, 70x100 and A0, and can be framed in oak, black or walnut brown. The canvas version uses 400g cotton canvas on a stretcher frame in 30x40, 50x70 or 70x100, with the option of a floating frame. Canvas has no glass in front of the image, so the colors stay free of reflections even in bright rooms. Both formats are made to order, and if you prefer the texture of canvas, browse more canvas art prints from our curated range.
