Emel Tunaboylu creates geometric abstraction drawn from the natural world. Her compositions translate landscapes, seascapes, and geological forms into clean, structured arrangements of colour and shape. Works like Geometric Sunrise and Canyon Geometrics reduce complex terrain to essential forms — arches, triangles, layered horizons — while retaining the warmth and light of the original scene.

A Turkish artist shaped by the colours of the Aegean coast, Tunaboylu brings a Mediterranean palette to her work: terracotta, deep ocean blue, warm sand, and sun-bleached stone. The result is abstract art that feels grounded rather than theoretical. Trio of Ocean Life and Triangular Redwood show her range — from aquatic stillness to the vertical energy of ancient forests.

Choosing the Right Format

On 225g fine art paper, the geometric edges and colour blocks come through with crisp precision. Paper prints are available in A3, 50x70cm, 70x100cm, and A0 — the larger sizes let the landscape-scale compositions fill a wall. Frame options include oak, black, and walnut brown. Oak emphasises the warm, natural palette. Black frames sharpen the geometric structure.

On 400g cotton canvas, the woven texture adds a painterly quality that softens the geometric forms. Canvas prints are available in 30x40cm, 50x70cm, and 70x100cm, with an optional floating frame.
