Kuriosis Original

Kuriosis Original is our in-house label — artwork we design, not just curate. The collection spans jazz concert posters drawn from mid-century graphic design, flower market prints from cities across Europe, and city skyline art built on architectural detail and colour.

What is Kuriosis Original?

Most of what Kuriosis sells is curated — historical works restored from archives, or contemporary art from independent artists we collaborate with. Kuriosis Original is different: these are designs made entirely in our Berlin studio, from concept to finished print.

The label started with our flower market series — bold, graphic poster designs inspired by the flower markets of European cities. Each print captures the character of a specific city through its flowers, typography, and colour palette. Berlin, Prague, Osaka, Stockholm, Lisbon — the series has grown as we have explored new cities and visual approaches.

From there, the label expanded into jazz concert posters — designs inspired by mid-century music poster art. Each print celebrates a legendary musician through graphic composition and period-appropriate typography. The series includes Nina Simone, Miles Davis, Billie Holiday, B.B. King, and others.

The three series

Jazz Concert Posters — graphic poster designs inspired by vintage music promotion, each dedicated to a jazz legend. The visual language draws on mid-century modernist design: strong colour blocks, bold typography, and clean composition. Browse more jazz and music prints for the full range.

Flower Market Prints — city-specific designs that combine botanical illustration with typographic poster art. Each city gets its own palette and floral motif. See the full flower market poster collection for all available cities.

City Skyline Art — minimalist architectural compositions that capture a city’s skyline through colour and form. These complement both the jazz and flower market series when arranged together. For more location-based art, explore our travel prints.

Format and sizing

Kuriosis Original prints are produced on fine art paper and available in A3, 50×70 cm, 70×100 cm, and A0. The graphic, poster-style aesthetic of these designs works particularly well at larger sizes — 50×70 cm or above — where the typography and colour blocks have room to breathe.

All prints are available unframed or with a solid wood frame in oak, black, or walnut brown. For a gallery wall arrangement, the jazz series works well as a horizontal row of three or more prints in matching frames — the consistent visual language creates cohesion while each musician brings a different colour mood.
