Rosi Feist Art Prints and Canvas Prints
Rosi Feist is a German artist who works with everyday objects — lemons, espresso cups, chilli sauce bottles, ramen bowls, plastic chairs — and reduces them to their graphic essence. The approach is rooted in modern pop art but filtered through a minimalist sensibility: bold colours, clean lines, simple geometric shapes, and a dry wit that makes each piece immediately recognisable. There is nothing decorative about the process. Feist looks at ordinary things and finds the composition already there, then strips away everything that is not essential.
The range at Kuriosis includes works like Lemon With Two Leaves, Chilli Sauce, Poster Ramen Soup, and Espresso Italiano — subjects drawn from kitchens, cafes, and the stuff of daily life. What holds them together is a consistent graphic language: flat colour, precise form, and a sense of humour that never undermines the design. Feist also works with handcrafted paper cut-outs alongside digital techniques, and that blend of craft and clean design gives the work a tactile quality even in reproduction.
Printing and Materials
Every Rosi Feist print is produced in our Berlin studio with archival pigment inks. The flat colour fields and sharp edges in his work reproduce particularly well on 225g matte fine art paper, available in A3, 50x70 cm, 70x100 cm, and A0. Canvas prints use 400g cotton, available in 30x40 cm, 50x70 cm, and 70x100 cm — the subtle canvas texture adds a layer of warmth to the bold graphic compositions. Framing options include oak, black, and walnut brown. Canvas prints can also be ordered with a floating frame for a clean shadow-gap finish.
Minimalist Pop Art and Kitchen Prints
Feist's work sits at the intersection of pop art and minimalist design — familiar objects made graphic, with enough personality to hold a wall on their own or work as part of a group. If you like this approach, you might also enjoy prints by Rosana Laiz Blursbyai, who shares a similar commitment to clean form and strong colour.
