Jay Stanley works across geometric abstraction and stylised city maps. His Minimal Shapes and Geometric Expression series build rhythm from clean forms and bold colour, while Retro Map prints like Amsterdam reimagine cartography as graphic art. UK-based, working directly with our Berlin studio.
Jay Stanley builds compositions from geometric shapes, clean lines, and bold colour blocks. His Minimal Shapes and Geometric Expression series strip imagery down to essential forms — rhythmic arrangements that sit between graphic design and fine art. Alongside the abstract work, his Retro Map series reimagines city maps like Amsterdam as stylised, design-led prints with a vintage sensibility.
The range works well together on a wall or as standalone pieces. The geometric prints bring structure and colour without being loud, while the map prints add a personal, location-based element that pairs naturally with the abstract work.
Choosing the Right Format
Jay Stanley's clean lines and flat colour fields reproduce with particular clarity on 225g fine art paper, where edges stay sharp and colours hold their saturation. Available as fine art prints in A3, 50x70cm, 70x100cm, and A0. For the bolder geometric pieces, 400g cotton canvas prints in 30x40cm, 50x70cm, and 70x100cm add a subtle surface texture that softens the graphic precision — a nice contrast.
All prints are produced in our Berlin studio with archival pigment inks rated for 100+ years of colour stability. Frame options include oak, black, and walnut brown.
Prints That Work Alongside
If you like the geometric minimalism, Emanuela Carratoni works in a similar space with soft palettes and balanced compositions. For more abstract energy, Angelo Cerantola brings bolder, more expressive mark-making. And if the Retro Map prints caught your eye, the wider map and city prints collection has dozens more options across different styles and cities.
